Most popular girlgroup songs on MelOn in March!

It’s always interesting to see how diverse the gg one is compared to the bg one for this year (2024) so far. Cause except for January (which was EXO - The First Snow) every single month till now has been Plot Twist by TWS. And as far as I can see (and just based off last year) the only boy group capable of dethroning them (TWS) are either a 3rd gen group or RIIZE.

Because it was almost the same case last year (2023), where it was basically just Seventeen (+ BSS) all throughout the year for bgs, with the exception of January (NCT Dream - Candy), October (RIIZE - Get A Guitar), and December (EXO - The First Snow).

Idk I feel like this is further evidence on how much 4th gen bgs are lacking (or falling behind) on the domestic charts. Cause so far every popular bg song for each month since 2023 (& even the year before) has been either by a 3rd gen group (SVT, EXO, & NCT Dream), or a 5th gen group (RIIZE, TWS).

I feel so bad for Fromis_9. They finally have a hit song with limited promotion. Then they lost 3 members. I feel that's not fair

Happy to see Fate, How Sweet, and Whiplash longevity. I wasn't sure about the longevity of those 3 songs, but it's nice to see
