The vibe of this song is so pure and elevated :borahae:

  • believe some of those movements are rooted in voguing, which is an important aspect of queer culture, especially within the Black and BIPOC queer community. If that bothers you, it might be worth reevaluating your priorities.

They definitely perform like a well-oiled machine that's built to last. Regardless of whether you're a fan of the group or not, it's clear that their team chemistry is top-notch, and it speaks volumes about their high performance ability. Personally, I've never watched these girls perform and not had a smile on my face or felt thoroughly entertained. The group's consistently fun and positive energy, matched with their polished performance ability are their biggest draws for me, and I really enjoy when they lean into that. I only have respect and appreciation for their efforts in this regard, especially in the face of the unnecessary vitriol they've experienced recently, not to mention the lackluster and ill-conceived manner in which the company handled it. I'm just happy they're still doing what they do best: spreading fun and positive energy into the world through music. I'm not a stan, but I enjoy their music and I'll always root for them.

And yes, I concur, the girls are indeed gorgeous. Their visual chemistry as a group continues to improve with every comeback.

Also, that chill but confident moonwalk is a very nice touch. The classics never get old.

Your post brought warmth to my heart 🥰

That moonwalk is the cherry on top, you’re right!

Well, it was unintended, but I'm glad you feel that way. It's just my honest takeaway as a casual fan. The girls are great, I enjoy their music, and they're always entertaining regardless of what type of content you're consuming. They clearly work hard and love their job.

I usually just lurk as I don't really feel the need to share my opinions often, but the board's been teeming with needless negative energy lately so I thought I'd try contributing by infusing a little positive energy here and there. After all, one of the biggest factors that drew me into the K-pop sphere back in '06 was the fun and positive energy I felt as I experienced this new and, at the time, very quirky thing called Korean pop for the first time.
