Will we see a nuclear attack in this decade?

Remember! 36 inches of *packed soil* is a good thickness against gamma radiation. (does not protect enough against blast!)
Be sure to be ready for at least a few weeks of total indoor living if the bombs do fall (and you survived) a dosimeter is PARAMOUNT
edit:
I don't actually think so. If russia were to nuke ukraine, that would defeat the purpose of capturing Ukraine in the first place. (to rule over ukraine and administer it like a protectorate or territory - if you nuke it, there wouldn't be much to rule over)
especially when ukraine vows to work out a nuke of their own if they lose support of nato. The most likely form of nuke is the "dirty bomb" that would be the cheapest (take radioactive material, and disperse with normal explosives) and releasing it in russian populated territory would create a radioactive "no-go" zone that would cripple russia, at least until extensive cleanup can be effected. Ukraine is interesting in that it does technically have the protection of MAD doctrine (mutually assured destruction) because it can use dirty bombs within months if not weeks.
