Official Announcement on 2Z Member ‘Jiseob’ Ending His Activities
Hello, this is [GOGO2020], the agency of the band 2Z.
We regret to inform you of some unfortunate news today. Recently, 2Z’s guitarist ‘Jiseob’ has been taking a break for health reasons. After extensive discussions and careful consideration with both our agency and the four other members, we have agreed to conclude Jiseob’s activities as a member of 2Z.
Although Jiseob’s time with 2Z has come to an end, we ask for your warm support and encouragement for his future endeavors. Additionally, [GOGO2020] promises once again to fully support Jiseob in his musical pursuits, should he wish to continue.
We sincerely thank all of you who have shown love and support for 2Z, and we ask for your continued expectations and affection toward 2Z’s members Junon, Bumjun, Hojin, and Jung Hyun, as they work to bring you even better music in the future.
Hello, this is Jiseob.
I am well aware that many of you have been waiting for news from me for a long time. Every time I thought of you, waiting and worrying about me, I felt heavy-hearted and couldn’t easily fall asleep at night, feeling sorry. The time I couldn't repay your patience and affection weighed heavily on me. I am truly sorry for the pain I may have caused by not staying with you until the end.
As 2Z’s guitarist, I received an incredible amount of love and blessings from you, which words alone can’t express. Every moment felt like a dream, and thanks to your warm support, I was able to endure difficult times. My time with the members was the period when my passion and dreams shone the brightest, and together, we achieved so much. The members, who were my support in tough times, and your unwavering encouragement, were tremendous sources of strength for me. I also want to convey my sincere gratitude and apologies to the members.
Today, I am here to tell you that I am officially leaving 2Z.
While I was genuinely happy during my time with 2Z, there were also overwhelming emotions that weighed on me. I thought I could withstand it with FromA and the members by my side, but looking back, I realize I was pulling myself deeper into a state of sadness. As time passed, anxiety and depression kept troubling me, and I felt that continuing as a 2Z member might seriously affect my health. After spending time reflecting on being honest with myself, I made this difficult decision.
To FromA, who gave me immense love and support, and to the members, I sincerely bow my head in apology for not being able to stay with you until the end. I also extend my deepest gratitude to our CEO, who guided me, and to all the staff members who have always worked tirelessly for us.
The moments on stage, meeting your gaze, laughing, and singing together will remain precious memories I’ll never forget. Although my heart is heavy delivering this news, I would be deeply grateful if you could continue to show unchanging love and support for 2Z. I hope the moments we shared together will remain bright in your memories.
I will never forget your love and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I will always keep you in my heart.
