Chewing Gum
Goose is in the park, hoping to see Yeonjun again.
Her heart is fluttering nervously.
Trying to calm her heart, she breathes in the fresh air.
Her eyes close as she inhales the air that smells like grass.
As she opens her eyes, she sees him chewing gum by the tree again.
Her heart starts fluttering again.
And her cheeks turn pink.
He looks at her with a smirk.
"What? Do you want another hug or something?" he asks.
Her blushing intensifies.
"No," she responds. "it's just that I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I think I'm pregnant with your baby."
He almost chokes on his chewing gum and starts coughing.
"WHAT???"
"Your hug and kiss made me pregnant."
"Have you never heard about the birds and the bees?"
"I am a goose, of course I know about birds."
"I guess I need to explain this to you." he says. "When two people love each other very very much, they-"
"They hug and kiss?" she interrupts.
"No, they... or yes, they might kiss and hug, but... what I'm trying to say-"
"Hey, what are you doing with my girlfriend?" a voice suddenly says.
Goose turns around and sees Seonghwa.
"Yes" she responds.
Yeonjun looks at him.
"We were only talking." he tells Seonghwa.
"Oh, I thought you were flirting because I have seen you flirt with a lot of people."
"No, Seonghwa, he was just explaining about where babies come from."
"He what?"
"Because I think I'm pregnant with his baby."
"Sir, I can explain." Yeonjun says.
"Have you been cheating on me?"
"He hugged me and kissed my cheek last time I was in the park."
"Did you also sleep with him?"
"No, I slept alone that night"
"Sir, she is not pregnant." Yeonjun says. "I only hugged and kissed her."
"Yes, and when two people hug and kiss, they create a baby."
"You silly goose" Seonghwa says relieved.
"I didn't want you to know that I was pregnant" she says. "because I was scared that you would be mad at me and not love me anymore."
"I'm not mad at you. I still love you very very much."
Goose hugs him.
"I love you very very much too," she says. "and Yeonjun told me that when two people love each other very very much, they might hug and kiss."
Seonghwa hugs her back and gives her a small kiss on the cheek.
They stop hugging.
"Wanna go to my house and build LEGOs with me?" he asks.
"Yes."
Then they leave the park.
Yeonjun is standing there, still chewing on his gum.
"Lesson learned. If you see a goose in a park, then don't hug or kiss it."
