Do you find it annoying whenever I say "just kidding"?

Well... I say that a lot...

Perhaps sound like a broken record.

Even in contexts where it might not be needed.

Like I might say something silly like "Me and Seonghwa went on a boat date" and of course no one would think I'm actual serious.

But there are times when I find it necessary, if I make jokes that can be mistaken as me being serious. (especially because of when it is in text, it is hard to depict sarcasm and stuff)

Well... I do have a habit of using the same word or sentence over and over again.

Or it is especially in speech. I unintentionally annoy my family by saying the same word and sentence over and over.

  • no, you never annoy me. plus, it is indeed hard to decipher tone through text. It makes it easier for others to know you're not serious by adding something like just kidding/jk/or some smiley. even if you're faking it while gritting your teeth and punching a pillow.

if people are bothered by you being you, then they can go eat dirt. :angy3:

  • Ever since I have been on the internet, I felt the need to over explain. Your words get so easily misconstrued and tone gets misinterpreted. So, I try to cover my bases and be clear as much as possible and it makes my sentences long and wordy.
So, no, I don't think it's annoying. Tone indicators can be necessary during online communication.
