WHO ARE WE?

If you're new to the Korean Cowboys Podcast, Howdy!

We're Aaron and Joel. We're best friends, former roommates, and we both come from the K-POP industry.

We're both big fans of listening to podcasts, so we've decided to create one of our own! On the Korean Cowboys Podcast, we share our experiences, stories and thoughts in both the K-Entertainment industry, as well as general everyday life.

Aaron ex member of the group NU'EST.
NU’EST (뉴이스트) consisted of 5 members: JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren. The band debuted on March 15, 2012, under Pledis Entertainment. While Minhyun promoted as a member of WANNA ONE, the rest of the members promoted as a sub-unit called NU’EST W. (W comes from “Waiting”) As of May 25, 2020 Big Hit Ent. became Pledis’ major shareholder, but Pledis will continue to act as an independent label. Pledis announced that NU’EST will cap off their official activities on March 14, 2022 and they disbanded.

BTL (비티엘; Beyond The Limit) was an eight-member boy group formed by Kiroy Company. Originally as nine, they debuted on May 15, 2014 with the single "Beyond The Limit". They officially disbanded on December 31, 2015.
