Yeah they should tell fans not to send gifts cause they are successful now
I don't think being successful has to do anything with this. Fans buying gifts for their faves for decades, and not only in Kpop. In a way, I agree with you, but this not something we can control. It's all on the fans and the artists. I don't have any problem with this because it's not my money. Also, it's much better than following them everywhere and being toxic with them.

It's annual income, which means that the bottom 99% of singers earn on average quite a bit less than the average South Korean resident.
