You should check on Dahn world past history, they're definitely a cult

  • They have 3 past lawsuit and all dismissed or settle out of court. They scamming their devotees thousands of dollar and told them to take a loan if they didn't have money to keep paying for their training.

They have weird practices and punishment. Example:

    1. On command from their Korean trainer, all eight would plunge their heads underwater and hold their breath until their lungs strained, finally rocketing to the surface gasping and shouting a devotional song to their Grand Master — a middle-aged Korean man called Ilchi Lee — and weeping to prove their sincerity. And they do it multiple times.

    2. The punishing techniques, they say, included forced isolation from friends and families, exercises like bowing 3,000 times all night long without breaks, disciplining members by sticking their heads in the toilet and making them lick other members’ feet, and having them hold certain poses, like the push-up position, for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.

    3. Make their members to listen to a vibration sounds to heal them spiritually.

The ex members of this cult also said Ilchi Lee (the founder) sexually preyed on young female disciples.

This is the response of Dahn World for one of the lawsuit: "Calling Dahn Yoga a cult, says company rep Joseph Alexander, “is laughable” and “culturally racist. … It’s no different from acupuncture when it came to this country. It just takes a lot more educating for people to accept it.”

This is what I get from my short 10 minutes research. Who knows what else they did. Even from the business perspective, they're very shady.

  • People are weird, like why do they fall for these cults?

Are these the guys accused of being related to Hybe?
