    SNSD and Super Junior. 2nd gen was peak variety era, with lots of great variety idols and strong variety talented groups - but of all those, SNSD Super Junior still took the crown as variety kings and queens.


    After 2nd gen, variety became far less a focus or idol criterium to be good at, sadly enough. GFriend and Mamamoo were still entertaining to watch though.
