He's actually a classic western stalker. Saesangs and stalkers do have behavioral differences, with stalkers feeling they OWN the victim and they have every right to do what they're doing. It's a lot harder to fix the issue with stalkers than saesangs, ex-saesang is common but ex-stalker only happens whenever they find a new victim, if they do.

Saesangs are also money motivated half of the time as well, kinda a way-too-close paparazzi. that's not something western stalkers do
