NewJeans Becomes 1st K-Pop Girl Group To Chart An Album For 10 Weeks In Top 60 Of Billboard 200

• NewJeans is the fastest girl group to debut on the Billboard 200, debuting on the chart with 126.6k albums sold, second only to Twice's Ready To Be album (153K albums sold) in total first week albums sold
• Get Up has spent its 9th week at #1 on the Billboard World Album Chart, becoming the first girl group album to top the chart for 9 weeks
• Only two girl groups have a #1 on Billboard 200, NewJeans and BlackPink (Twice dealt with bad timing and got blocked despite selling the most albums between the 3 in their first week)

I know everyone has spent the past year becoming numb to NewJeans speedrunning every accomplishment under the sun, but I'm at least not taking it for granted.

This could be the first generation where the absolutely undisputed top group in K-Pop is a girl group, and I'm here for it
