i'm no professional musician or anything but sometimes i wish i could unlearn what i know about music theory so that i can be a lot less picky when it comes to kpop songs. most of the time you can just kinda figure out the general direction of where the

song is going and then be immediately disinterested within just a few bars. it does however, enhance the experience when you do come across a song that's trying to do something interesting musically and that's pretty nice. it's like knowing lore or insider stories about what the production was like on the set and all the other technical stuff regarding your favorite movie or tv show or something
