I just read the story of an African TV reporter and TV-MC called Matondo Castelo who works for Germany's national TV's Childen-channel. He took time and travled to the "West Bank" a Region in the Arabic part of Asia (Which contains for example cities like Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv) to help people in need together with other people who also want to help. They were about to build a school for example so kids in need can learn reading, writting and math.
However some protests were going on in which locals were protesting against the build of an fully Islamic city in the region. A while later Matondo was called by his boss from the children-channel and asked whats going on. The reason was, he posted about the demonstrations where people protestet against the build of the Islamic city and the most infamous newspaper of Germany called "Bild" saw the posts on Instagram and was threatening the childrens-channel to give out a statememnt imediatly.
Matondo was shook when later on the same day the newspaper Bild just published an article that was taken fully out of context, saying he would be against the Islam since they belived the photo they saw on Instagram was him sheering up the protesters who were on a demonstration against the build of the Islamic city.
The newspaper Bild accussed the TV channel to he "blind against anti-semitism" since the newspaper belived that the TV channel was letting Matondo's behavier sliding trought. Later on the TV channel said to stop working with Matondo till the case is cleared.
Matondo himself is still deeply shook that his face can't be shown on TV anymore since he claimed that all the accusations against him are not true, but the TV-channel isn't willing to belive him, not even since Matondo was awarded for the help he does for people in need. The TV-channel just dosn't cares since the newspaper Bild literally ruined Matondo's image forever.
Matondo Castelo is the son of refugies who came to Berlin in 1993 where he was born in an refugee shelter and since his childhood wasn't the greatest he just wishes that no other child has to suffer and therefore he wanted to help children in need, but now nobody wants to work with him anymore just cause of a photo that was interpreted wrongly.
