it's so funny that a certain fandom is always screaming sabotage/conspiracy over the littlest things when their own agency was exposed for it and then something like THIS happens...
Bunshun is often accurate on their dating rumours, just recently exposed a popular jpop idol for example. Yet you want me to believe they fell for some random instagram user's obviously photoshopped pics? Come on. They put them behind the paywall because they knew the pics were fake and didn't want readers to know immediately. Now why would they do that? LSF are rising in JPN but they're certainly not super popular enough that it'd be worth printing a fake dating scandal about them. But they are set to debut very soon in Japan...now who might benefit from trying to smear their name?
