exactly. I've seen so many people say that these idols are nepo babies when in reality they're just rich.
To put it in the simplest format, u are a nepo baby if someone related to you is already in the industry ur going to and that connection benefitted you.
It's not always a bad thing and it's in every job field.
Kpop though it's much less prominent, and even if u do have family connections, u still have to work hard considering the trainee requirement.
I guess following the Indian film industry has come in handy after all lol.
