hmm did you try logging in and out? clearing the cache?

also, if you could link your news profile page, that might be helpful because I want to see if it's the same on my end.

ah yeah I think I did something similar back when I changed my name. I'm not sure if that fixed it, but I am thinking sometimes the system might take some time to process the change :). Glad it worked out!
