Amongst all 7, Joon's release is amongst the ones I anticipated the most, mostly due to his lyricism.
I haven't been able to listen to the whole album yet, but the title track IMO expresses clearly what he said during the Festa video. Boy he really was burned out I also sense some frustration with the industry to be something/someone and his own desire to do things at his own pace and without pressure to represent something. I really liked his analogy of a still life canvas though. I think again it's his desire on leave a mark on the world, just like a flower that is already dead is still alive by being on a canvas.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'd like to read your thoughts about the whole album too.
