Meh. She was never that charming or exceptionally vocally gifted or even that charismatic when performing and dancing was all she has, so this debut song doesn’t get a single thing right for her. It’s like whoever is responsible for her songs doesn’t know what’s her strength and weakness at all.

Love it. It was different from what I expected.
I could be wrong but I think they chose a song that doesn't need to sing much so that it can highlight her dancing more. One thing that I would improve on is the MV, it should have included some dancing because that is what she is known for.
I do hope she comeback soon yes I know it is early but I'm just scared that since WM delayed her debut for so long they might take very long to give her another comeback.

Her vocals are lacking a lot. I'm not a snob and I don't think deeply about analyzing vocals. Her vocals stick out in a bad way. Her singing isn't strong enough to be a soloist.
Before debuting, people were asking if she could be as successful as Chunga. Well, Chunga's singing blows her out of the water. She is way below the recent crop of soloists like Eunbi, Yena, and Miyeon in when it comes to singing.

Reality check for Chaeyeon solo stans that would go on endlessly about how she should have all the lines and could be main vocal. Still sad to see her company do her dirty because I think she could have done WAY better even as a soloist with the right concept and song. I guess I was delusional excepting female Taemin kind of solo.

She was never a visual and never that much of vocalist. Her strongest asset was her dancing but her company ruined her credibility by putting her on SWF. Like, her talent was the only thing that was carrying her and why people paid her any attention and they literally ripped that from her.
Then, instead of doing damage control, they make her go months without any appearances, killing what little hype she had remaining from Iz*One, and then announce a rushed debut with very little build up when most people have already moved on and forgot about her.
To make matters worse, while the debut song is kind of interesting, there is nothing about it that gives off a unique feel.
Honestly, if I was her company I would have gone for a complete overhaul and try and reinvent her image. Pull a freaking Jessi. Shit, at least it would get people talking again. Sometimes you need a little shock factor to gain attention in this business. She shoulda got some work done at Dr. Kim's during her hiatus and comeback with a mature concept.

She desperately needs a girl group around her to survive tbh. It's tough to survive as a soloist, especially one that lacks a certain star power, or general public attention. If she still has Wiz*One supports, then it will make it easier, but she's arguably the least popular member of the group so..
