Xiumin has the most natural aegyo I've seen among male idols.

    He's definitely an exception, most of the male idols look low-key uncomfortable e and even annoyed doing aegyo, but not him tho. Xiumin is an 32 years man with 10 years of career, if he didn't want to do aegyo, he wouldn't, period. But he debuted solo last week, and in 10 days he made more aegyo than Sehun in 10 years, like for real, he does it ALL THE TIME.


    I've seen people call him cringe on TikTok, and I felt really mad about it. Yes, we call him a fairy, he calls himself a fairy, is it so hard to accept that not every fandom wants to stan fuc* boys persona?


    I think aegyo is part of the kpop culture despite the fact international fans don't like it anymore, especially 4th gen fans.

    But yeah, a lot of people can't take that people can be cute and adorable at any age or gender, it's just different kind of cute, not always childish cute :cutes:


    As for aegyo, I don't think intl KPop fans ever really like aegyo, it's a different culture w Korean

    But also kinda given for male idols bcs they're typically bad at it, it's too forced, not the kind that'd make your lip curls up unconsciously

    My rule of thumb is, if their first reaction of doing aegyo is doing baby voice, they're not *that* cute (or just straight up cringe)
