disappointed in bps numbers

we talked about getting the girls to 200+m first week streams and then a predictor here said more than 300m

why did we set up the girls?

Honestly, hate the predictor for always setting up BP and for what? Just keep it in the guild.

BP still set some records shop is fine

The “all time record” with a lot of asterisks. If you look at raw numbers and include an obvious omission, not even close.

Pink Venom had more streams…because it’s actually closer to being a hit and had more hype than SD. Duh. It also had more filtering because it wasn’t part of the “deal.” Shut Down only has an illusion of success when you remove raw numbers from the equation, and this is true for the album itself. Interscope knew what they were doing by releasing this during a true dead zone of releases.

Since the “deal” is supposed to be a one week special we shall see how all the songs fare in the coming weeks. 🤨
