Who cares about the influencers thing? They def already sold enough for bb200 before that. YG or interscope doing this (if it’s true it is their doing) maybe because they want people to talk about it which people are right now. It keeps bp in the spotlight and plus YG gets more 🤑. Whether it’s positive and negative, they don’t care. Just like SM with aespa’s plagiarism issues, Hybe with that article shading skz or Jyp “accidentally” releasing O.O before their actual debut.
