More relevantly: does anyone know what kind of cyber security laws in Korea would apply here? At the very least, some level of grey hat hacking has occurred -- whether it's her phone that's been hacked, her IG, whatever. It also very well could be sasaeng images that have been highly edited/composited -- either way, compromised materials are involved and I'm curious where that would stand legally. And deep fakes open up a whole other category of legal ambiguity -- it's a hot topic in tech ethics right now.

I read the theory that Gurumi had access to such a large photo cache that they found it easy to edit V and Jennie together, but it makes no sense unless they were a Taennie shipper and they don't seem to like Jennie so why bother?
Anyway that would be shot down so fast by the companies - unless the hacker has photos of their real partners and they want to protect that. Still seems a reach though.
