Pink Venom was bland, but Shut Down is even worse.

Stats aside, Blackpink's music after a two year hiatus is just so so bland.

Shut Down's MV is a joke. Recycling so much stuff again and trying to play it off as a homage to their earlier tracks. You have to be brain dead to think it was anything other than a cost saving exercise.

I never really understood why they copped so much heat over their lyrics previously, but I finally get it. There's no substance at all to the lyrics in Shut Down. It literally a mish mash of words to make them sound hard and edgy. So cringe.

Anyone else agree or have an opinion to share? Really curious to see if Blinks will be honest with themselves this time.

hmm... I was curious how they will do with musical size 3/4. It's pretty common for classical but rare for pop and hip hop . What I didn't expect at all - what their "Blackpink in your areaaaaaaaaaaaa" sounds here
