Does unstanning your favs because of their company normal to you?

I really can't stand Hybe anymore and supporting BTS feels like I support Hybe so it makes me really conflicted sometimes. I might unstan them eventually to ease my mind...

"Stanning - Stalking fanatical obsession" itself is abnormal - so why bother about normalcy of unstanning.

I doubt you're an ARMY. Most ARMYs here move like company stans even though they refuse to agree they are. HYBE sucks. It's as if a company like CUBE was all of sudden worth $1B. But they aren't worth losing your shit over. They aren't as filthy as YG yet.

If you need to take a break, go ahead. You can wait for BTS to break free from HYBE. I will wait for that day and celebrate BTS leaving HYBE. If GOT7 left JYP for treating them way better than HYBE is currently treating BTS then I don't understand why BTS would stay with HYBE.

I like BP and YG I know YG pretty messed up so ...well if we really think about it we shouldn't support a lot of companies that produce common goods but it's almost impossible so if you really think about the reasons why you want to stop using certain products/support certain companies and you really care about the cause that's totally ok but you shouldn't feel forced to do so.

Hybe isn’t worse than any other agency. As long as they don’t abuse their idols I won’t bother distancing myself from the agency. Accept that all agencies lack morals and only care about money or leave kpop (and all entertainment industries really)

Disliking Hybe is normal. Pretty sure a lot of older army do actually.

But why not continue to enjoy the music? Just ignore the shitty merch and games and overpriced special limited what the f could possibly warrant such a price albums and it's fine.
