YG would not have expected Lisa would win an award. Made obvious by lack of a congratulations article when she did win. They couldn't make it any clearer that they don't like her solo project. They released it for a quick cash grab which backfired when China instigated a 1 unit per person purchase limit right before release.

So they probably thought they were protecting her and themselves by not letting her perform and having the group there instead. And that backfired too.

YG doesn't care enough for Lisa top mediaplays.

Blackpink were defiantly invited. If it was just Lisa on her own most people wouldn't of bothered watching in the first place, me included and I'm a blink lol.
