Army said new Billboard rules would destroy other Kpop group chances on Hot 100.

  • I remember them mocking Blackpink and other groups, saying they wouldn't even chart anymore. But it seems like only BTS was seriously impacted. Yet To Come and Arson did worse than expected, while Blackpink had their best showing for a Korean song. BTS isn't that far ahead anymore.

  • PV had less points then HYLT only reason they debuted higher is because of less competition so not really their best showing is it

  • BlackPink debuted lower than they did two years ago, seems like they didn’t grow at all

  • Literally BLINKS :

    "BTS over", "ARMY flops"

How and why are yall hating from down there :pepe-shame: it is time to give it up!

  • everyone and their dog knew bts would be the most affected

Could be impact of new rules.

Yet to Come only did nine spots better with same rules as Pink Venom. That shows BTS isn't that far ahead.

Bts did that with a Korean ballad song compared to BP with their most anticipated cb after 2 years hiatus

this is BlackPink’s most awaited comeback ever after two years of no group music whereas the BTS members release music all the time and they had a comeback in 2021

In the end, BlackPink’s peak performance is no match for BTS at their quietest and most low key

I understand this may be hard for you, but please try to cope

They did better superficially but worse than hylt. They didn’t beat the points

BP's most anticipated song can't even beat BTS's floppiest song ;(

  • Forget BTS, BP most anticipated song can't even beat HYLT (we can see point, you all aren't fooling anyone), this just shows BP always need to leech from bigger artists.

No wonder blinks are begging for a Drake or Taylor collab

HYLT was under different rules. Under same rules, BP is only 9 spots behind BTS. BTS isn't that far ahead.

everyone is getting less points than before and you can’t compare points before and after the rule changes. Kpop songs especially had more points back when you could buy a song more than once.

  • Blackpink have been lucky to release a song in one of the weakest weeks on Billboard and globally too. It is not the achievement Blinks think it is. In a tough week, they would have debuted in 40s or lower.

  • All I see to justify BP's poor showing is "bu-bu-but BTS song YTC only debuted at 13!!!!!!" It still did better then the abomination of a song, which had no shame in literally biting the music from 3 other artists lmao homage my ass.

I think BTS is doing just fine considering they're in hiatus, what did BP do on hiatus besides Insta selfies?

Nicki, Beyonce, Harry, Bad Bunny, lol why its so hard for you all to admit that the competition existed? I get that Olivia being the only one and a rookie fighting up BTS last year is kinda embarrasing for you all but still, BP competed with A lists.

You do know the meaning of hiatus right?

  • Army say a lot of things lol.

They occasionally make sense but majority of the time they're delusional at best.

Don't take them seriously OP, most sane people don't. Just smile and go about your day :smirks2:

Ytc is a album track while PV is a single, wait till BTS releases that fifa single to see how they chart or bp with born pink album release to see how they chart their title track. If bp managed to chart their title track higher than ytc on hot100 then I'll agree BTS regressed.

    LMAOO

all of them released it weeks/months ago. can't even think of valid excuses

and i love how blinks ignore how ytc is ballad and their album was the best/the greatest hits and still did great and better than the most anticipated dance/hype song from the supposed biggest group with gp behind them. Meanwhile they're still booking 15k capacity arenas all around the world KOREA included

  • also bp would never risk and try to release something as ytc(slow songs as title tracks) and get as high results as ytc did

yg would rather disband than let them and their image tank

  • you can't buy the song x times like before rules changes, this affect everyone, they had more streams then before but fewer sales, they did grow but not enough to outmatch the rules changes by BBB sales wise

BTS could surely get other n1 hit on the hot 100 but points wise they would do waay less points than before because that's what the change is suppossed to do to and why is was even created.. Radio and stream up, sales got downgraded

  • Why are people trying to compare PV and YTC with two year old releases? Things have changed, Life Goes On would never get number one under current rules and HYLT would never get the same points as it did before under current rules.

We can only compare current releases with the new rules in place. And it seems like now, BTS isn't that far ahead of Blackpink.

Again. get this in your head Blinks.

BTS floppiest song and a ballad to boot still outcharted BP's most highly anticipated and hyped up song.

    Please, take a seat. :teeheek:

So did Olivia and she was a rookie and yet beated up BTS

  • Of course, they aren't they wouldn't be beated by a rookie in spotify.

It's cute how you're trying to defend BP by using a completely different American artist like Olivia Rodrigo. Her success doesn't justify BPs lack of it. Also, I do remember poor Ms. Rodrigo not being able to get a number one song because a kpop group blocked her. But don't worry, high charting isn't everything. I know BP cares more about giving their fans great music and sharing their artistry with them.....

Ms poor Olivia got 2 number 1 and a grammy in the span of a year

lololol why won't you guys stop setting Blackpink up

your long awaited hyped single barely outperformed (or didn't, in the West) a freaking no-choreo BALLAD BTS released as part of a mega compilation album that half the fandom hated.

must be sad to be continually stuck in 2nd place, but learn to live with it sis.

Yet to come is a single by definition.

The second week of PV is predicted to be higher than the second week of Yet To Freefall.

see what happens when BP release a ballad next haha

let me guess, nowhere to be found on the chart. How did Lovesick Girls do again? and that was still catchy pop, only not a lead single...
