Is Attention a national hit?

  • um no lol blackpink comeback boosted it more but it doesn't have that viral factor that national hits have

    it's just a hit song

  • need to see if they have longevity.

  • If it has great longevity too on top of the current great peak then absolutely.

  • how did BP boost it? or you mean armys are streaming it to block them?

well possibly but I meant many users came back on melon for blackpink and maybe decided to check out newjeans since they are #1 now

once blackpink inkigayo perf is released and the vmas air they are grabbing that #1 on melon

  • Longevity (around 20 weeks or more in the top 10 of Melon Weekly) will help determine its national hit status.

  • well, even bp can't outchart them and they surpassed the listeners of love dive and tomboy, so it's not that questionable

They haven't surpassed the peak of Tomboy yet. Tomboy peaked at 551k ULs.

Need to calm down a bit.

This is not true and attention surpassed tomboy already. it’s ok to admit the truth

That's the very strictly defined daily UL's, and that was due to IDLE peeking on a day leading into suppressed ULs

Tomboy's rolling UL peak (of people listening in 24 hours) was 551k ULs, which Attention has yet to pass. That's the peak of people listening to the song in a 24 hour window.

It could come, sure. But it passes Tomboy when it passes it, not a very specific subset of listeners.

  • It passed all rhe initial criteria, just the longevity factor. Which I'm sure will happen so

Yes it can be considered a national hit
