The tension between Hybe and Armys is what affected BTS's performances in recent comebacks

  • I really don’t know, I prefer to take what RM said as truth, they need tome to grow and that was difficult with the amount of pressure they had after Dynamite

  • You can say this on main. This is not even controversial enough to be in Anon.

  • i think it's (partly) true

people are pretty much fed up with how things have been handled for a long time. for being the biggest group, they don't get treated like that: MVs have been lacking since bwl (exception Daechwita), BE only having 1 expensive version (a normal priced version only came the next year), the horrible roll out of PROOF,...

i have a lot of irl army friends, who still adore the boys, but they are just done with how hybe is managing them. they still listen to their songs, but they have lost part of the dedication that many kpop stans have (keeping up with sm updates, hyping up non music content, fighting for improvements - such as better subtitles/better quality of stuff/...). it's life & not that deep, but it's kinda sad that it isn't because of them outgrowing the boys or something, but just their imcompetent company making it hard to stay dedicated.

  • If you're a success stan, yes. They released the song as a message for themselves & it describes their journey.

All of BTS's recent music has been for success stans. BTS expected YTC would over-perform because their other poor songs had. You think they wanted a song crowing that their best is yet to come to flop?

BTS are too smart to think a boring ballad like YTC would perform well

they even said Armys would prefer Run BTS but they couldn't be arsed to learn some choreo I guess
