SNSD and Apink have the 2nd gen longevity record, the one groups that stayed together for more than 10 years and still being active. I definitely see BP and Twice doing the same, Twice in the Apink way focused on groups comebacks and their solo careers mostly being acting and sub units, while BP taking the SNSD route and doing mostly solo gigs as soloists and acting with ocassional comebacks for significant years. I see RV and Mamamoo playing it like Wonder Girls and Tara mostly, lasting til 10 years but then go into an indefinite hiatus, maybe RV doing some lesser comebacks a la Tara while Mamamoo they are focusing 100% in their solo careers. Ironically Gfriend will end up as the 2ne1 of the 3rd gen, disbanded by the company after a positive comeback (MAGO/MAMA stage 2015)

Nope. Twice stand a good chance of becoming the last standing active 3rd gen girl group, but Red Velvet will also outlast Blackpink, and maybe even Twice. Why? Because they're much more focused on their music careers than BP, and a lot less interested in seeking individual fame. And even if they went on hiatus within the next few years, SM still wouldn't disband them. Hell, they haven't even officially disbanded f(x)! And we know there's practically zero chance of them ever reuniting. RV, on the other hand, have a good chance of reuniting after any hiatus they may experience, ala SNSD. Blackpink will disband a lot sooner than most people realize. They won't make it to 10 years due to their group dynamic, ie everyone wanting to be the center of attention.
And they may have gone on hiatus, but T-ara still have seniority over Apink.

Just shows how you don't know anything about bp and pretends like you know anything about them.
Their strong bond/friendship works because everyone settles into their own roles for the group's sake
That explains why the group is working fine even w/o a leader -
