Most recently, stan twitter goblins dragged him for his perceived ugliness (he's not ugly) and undeservedness of dating LOONA's Heejin, which didn't even turn out to be true.
In what turned out to be the most bizarre dating rumors I have ever heard of, an alleged photo of his foot got him massive amounts of hate.
Apparently people decided this was him (that picture was shown on an iPad a member of LOONA was using during a live) because he had blond hair at one point (but not at the point the photo was taken) and he appeared on Mixnine. Accusations of grooming even appeared against him because of it, but it turned out this was a member's cousin's foot and Jinyoung and Heejin could barely be considered one-time acquaintances from the show, as they didn't have contact back then nor do they have it now.
