ITZY stylist needs to learn what the term "safety" means in safety shorts

  • Made the accident of searching itzy in reddit, 2 popular posts on THAT subreddit. yuna and chaeryeong, both involve the girls wearing booty shorts as safety shorts, showing way more than they should while wearing equally short skirts

    Approved the thread.
  • stop blaming stylists just cause ur favs don't look good in the outfits and btw yuna wearing those hip pads shows the image itzy want to give lately and it's mature (cringe but true)

  • more skin = more win

    its kpop

  • this sounds like an excuse for you to shame them and Idk why mods approved this

This isn’t one your white knight crusades, it is a legit concern. Many kpop fans have been disgusted by a certain sub Reddit and even twitter users who collects these type of pics of videos and get off to them. Sometimes in cases like this the stylists are fully at fault.

  • kpop f is a bad place to go in first place, but your point is valid, but also, its not their problem that psychos exists, maybe we should encourage exposing the perverts instead blaming them or their coordi, which is most likely a female and probably ask the girls if they are comfy in their cloths

nothing to do with hip pads/outfits. yuna thing was the most recent fan meeting. had skirt with safety shorts that were legit booty shorts, and she was dancing/spinning.

like a minimum make sure the safety shorts cover

  • With Itzy I feel it's become "by any means necessary" for the members, especially Y and C. You think Yuna and Chaeryeong didn't know what they were wearing and didn't approve it? They're both trying to get on that It Girl track. And it's valid. Looking sexually appealing is a part of their job description.

That said it doesn't mean it's Ok to talk about them in literally any way. I've landed on that sub sometimes through image searches and the comments are disgusting. Especially the way they code the way they speak about under-age idols. And the way they piled in on Yuna the day she turned 18 was gross.

Completely agree on the second point, the first one, not so much. The status of IT girl is only salivates by fans and stans to fantasize about, because they get egos and giggles from it. But does anyone really think idols actually be like 'IMA GET IT GIRL/BOY TITLE THIS MONTH'. Lol. How embarrassing is that.

To the first point, sex sells, no matter the industry. It's very very sad to see minors like that, but to bluntly say it, its a business and as long as there's a market, they won't stop producing minors. We as consumers, drives that business. However, I don't think idols are purposely wearing things to have the thought of 'Im wearing this outfit today so the fans can fantasize about me' kind of feeling. People like to wear cute or pretty outfit, I know I do.

No matter what you wear, 'fans' or perverts will find ways to exploits it. Ex; hidden cams from GFriend one fan event. Or 100% zoomed in cameras, recording, how'd you think fancams become popular? But the most dreadful thing is when the idol is standing on a higher platform than where the fans are sitting at, if they wear skirts, booty shorts, tight pants, safety shorts that are like underwear, or whatever the fuck the stylist think is OK to wear, fans sees everything.

Things they wear are controversial or sex appeals, but as consumers, aren't we also in that equation? We fantasize, idolize, and pit them against each other. Sex sells. Kpop has plenty of them, even BGs. We as consumers enabled that.
