garam should sue source music/hybe

  • if you are unaware garam's friend posted the legal documents that somu was hiding and proved there was actually no physical violence just two ex friends that cussed each other out btw they were 12 at the time

I'm so disturbed with how bad the company handled this

she was on national kr tv and everyone including intl stans were dragging her severely but hopefully she sues!!

    Approved the thread.
  • i think she should sue, but the eunsoo girl, not hybe.

  • as if suing doesn't require tons of money lol

  • I disagree she hid her past and her parents should have known it would come back to haunt her she shouldn't sue anyone but just move on

I don't support the hate she got and lies people spread on her she is still a minor but her being an idol with a past like that don't mix

  • but HYBE told y'all that she was a victim and that she was defending her friend in a press statement and none of you wanted to believe them :cryingr::cryingr:

why are kpop stans such hypocrites talking about how she should sue the company for ruining her life AS IF the people accusing her, calling her a bully, mocking her, making all those videos about her being a terrible human being or saying that the company is lying to protect had no part in ruining her life :angryr: kpop stans are in hell at this point

  • Whatever the truth, HYBE were incompetent. It should have been the simplest thing for them with all their resources to find witnesses to corroborate her statement. If she was the likable student she states there would be plenty of people ready to confirm that.

They started out with "Hey! She's an innocent heroine because we say so!" expecting that all their group fandoms move like Armys and would squash everything.

Then they went to "Poor Garam is taking time out because y'all hurt her precious feelings! (Army's? Hello? Are you really going to make us do our own work?!)"

Third and final step - "Garam? We don't know her."

Something had to happen for them to lose all interest and drop her. And maybe HYBE are so mercenary that it was simply seeing that Garam's hiatus actually boosted LS's popularity and they didn't need her.

wait you actually make a point it's the kpop stans that make situations a lot more bad

they never learn until an idol commit Sui**de and then they preach online bullying then go back to same old habits

There were defenders but they got downvoted on Ksites and ratiod on Twitter

When will y’all understand that the people denfendig her and attacking her are two different groups

  • Let's be real even if HYBE were to show this document the truth is Garam did cuss at Eunseo and though you could argue its justified because Eunseo did something to Garam's friend she still handled in the wrong way and got punished for it. You're never going to get the public on your side with that story. Don't get me wrong I hate that this happened to her but this was doomed from the start.

  • It's the mob culture that is at fault. Literally as soon as any statement comes out people rush to find someone to blame. Even here when a lot of things aren't adding up people are blaming Hybe. It's not as bad as blaming either of the two minors involved since hybe is a company and I couldn't care less about them.

And why tf do people want the documents that reveal details about minors posted online?why? can't you live without trying to find the perfect moral solution online to real life complex problems? What happens with minors is none of your business. A lot of adults including both the hybe and the law firm seem to have let the two parties involved down badly. But it seems like people are only looking at others to blame when they and their mob mentality are at fault too like always.

  • So some twelve year old kids cussed each other out.

Should such an incident really be held against them as proof of their character today? Is that the moment that should determine what they can and can't do with their lives moving forward?

They were cruel and immature, which is exactly what kids often are. Kids just aren't very good at putting themselves in other people's shoes, and they downright suck when it comes to considering the potential consequences of their actions. They live in their own little world. Which, coincidentally, is why it's usually the parents who are held responsible when a kid does something illegal.

Seriously, she's 16 now. 4 years have passed. That's a quarter of her life.

  • im not sure why hybe didnt mentioned there was no physical violence involved which was what knetz were speculating because of level 5 punishment. Atleast she made it clear. And hope it herself who asked to post this not a stranger.

  • I think everybody just need to chill the fuck out. Let this poor girl live her life from now on. She gotten much more hate than needed. All those mob mentality, crushing someone's dream. I love Kpop as the next person, but fuck do I hate this side of it. We never learn, ever.

She was 12 when it happened, and people crucified her at 16, treating like she did it at that age. Second chances people, twelve years old is a kid, even at 16. And the worst part is that, those people will just go on their daily life after fucking over someone elses, and then move onto the next target.

With the heat she has gotten, she will probably never be able become an idol again, but fuck do I want a redemption story, just so she can stick it to the mobs.

The only reason why she's putting this out is probably because of previous legal reason and Hybe didn't allow her to post a statement when she was being trialed. Shit even ex-Weeekly Jiyoon got some tea on the company and they can't voice out their opinions because the company didn't allowed them to.

Whoever shared a near naked photo of a minor on a forum should also face the same if not more scrutiny. I feel like this was extremely glossed over just because Garam was a member of an idol group. JFC.

Agreed, I know Ador just put out a tweet that they're going to start coming for people who do this type of shit. But I think all of Hybe should do

the same. Kpop fans can try to backpedal all they want, but the reason this girl has lost her dreams is because of these loud, loser internet denizens,

including some clowns in this very forum. Personally, I won't report posts or threads anymore in this forum, I'm just gonna email Hybe :finger-heart::finger-heart:

  • no she should sue the koreans that left those nasty abusive se*ual comments

  • It's so weird that people are so desperate to hate on HYBE even though they're the ones who actually tried to defend her and made a whole-ass detailed report about what happened. Like step back a little and think about who is ACTUALLY at fault here. Want a hint? It's the crazy ass Knetz who decided from the start that they wanted to witch hunt a teenage girl and didn't care about anything else. And it's the Eunseo girl and her team of legal cronies that purposely leaked the partial Level 5 SVC document and went to the press so that the whole thing blew up and was part of the national news, making Garam Public Enemy #1 and ruining her chance to have a decent commoner life. They took things WAY too far and should be sued for being a$$holes.
