why kpop stans keep saying twice hasn't had a hit since 2018 when fancy and FS are right there?

i'm not even a twice stan but it infuriates me when someone says their last hit was yes or yes when fancy and feel special had korea in a deadly grip. 2019 was their best year music-wise

Fancy did as good as their 2017 songs but didn't peak at 1 and DD did better that year so people used that song as metric for the year, FS flopped, didn't peak higher than 10 which for Twice was basically their first flop and it end up with only 400m points which is much lower than KTL which most of the kpop community called it flop

Feel Special was their first flop on the charts, you have the wrong info. It didn't even spend a week in the top 10 on Melon, the first Twice title to do that

Fancy did alright but certainly wasn't up there with previous tracks that got huge numbers and stayed in top 10 for ages.

Feel special was definitely a flop. Low numbers overall and dropped out of the 10 after only a couple days. Remember this was Twice when they were still assumed to be at their peak so this performance was really bad for them.

From there they never had anything that could be compared to their pre 2018 songs. Most of their CBs since either don't make the top 10 or struggle to stay in there, alcohol free was their last "big" song and that could only stay in the top 20 after a very brief appearance at number 10. That might be good for a smaller gg but a big name like Twice that was terrible. Scientist was....

More and More didn't get any higher than #5 on Gaon's weekly, and it was already out of Gaon top 200 in 27 weeks.

That isn't great as a peak, nor in longevity.

Twice Last Waltz is one of their best song ever. I freaking love that song. It's so good.
