Why do people skirt around the fact Soyeon's verse in Tomboy sucks?

    Just because the girl is widely accepted as the best female rapper of her generation, it doesn't mean we should act like that verse was anything but horrendous, lyrics, flow and delivery in general. If this was someone from Aespa, Itzy, Blackpink or any other current girl group, the jokes and drags would be as bad as Chanyeol "shawty imma party til the sun down" times

    Soyeon gets praised as a producer more than her rapping skills . Personally, I don't think she isn't much better than jenlisa in fact they might have better flow than her sometimes

    Ruined the song IMHO, I just heard gibberish English. Rap Korean would made way better.

    I mean, of course people are going to be less judemental toward her because 1 flop verse in a hit song she produced doesn't change the fact that she's a great producer and otherwise a good rapper. Those other groups you name dropped have sucky verses on top of not having any producing skills.

    The whole song wasn’t that great to begin with. People say “Girls anthem “ and they hype it up. When it reality their previous titles was much better then that.

    i thought everyone was dragging her for the verse? just yesterday on the main someone dragged her and others agreed. how was that verse approved is beyond me

    Because the issue is her pronunciation, and when you are taught english, teachers usually make sure that their students don't feel bad about pronunciation since it is something that people improves at, as time goes and along that students learn to not mock up someone else pronunciation. Most kpop stans are teens and they are learning that, so no one is going to pick up her pronunciation, except us citizens, since they usually think they are the center of the world and decide to mock up anyone with a not fluid english knowledge

    She was dragged for it though. There's a whole video on YouTube with her verse omitted from the song.
