An aspect of stage presence not discussed

With all the talk about stage presence, it is rarely mentioned that it is important for a performer/entertainer to be able to tell a story using a song: Whether it be through vocal inflection and timing, facial expressions, body movement, or a combination of the former three. Are your favs able to tell a story effectively and with emotion or are they just going through the notes and the motions?

Good point. The vibe of the performance that artists give should complement the vibe of the song incl undertones.

Exactly. People who don't often see live shows don't have the faintest clue.
