How does NewJeans’ vocals compared to Hybe’s standards?

Now that their vocals focused song is out, how do you rate their vocals? Hybe is not known for good vocals, did they change that?

Do we even have enough live footage of them?

You can't really rate them without live vocals. Studio recordings are misleading.

At least way better than the other groups

The girls have natural vocies and way less proceeded vocals

This songs being sang live since are more simple they would sound amazing

Your typical 4th gen mid, right around IVE level.

Are you sure? They don't have intense choreography like Enhypen, therefore you don't know how they would sound had they had it.

less autotune compared to other hybe groups

they sound better than other hybe groups because they don't have soo much autotune and stay in their vocal range

For those who kept downplaying and degrading Hybe vocal’s standard. I guess there’s nothing else bad to say about them? And because Hybe groups usually are not afraid to sing live. It’s always funny to me to see stans of groups that always lipsync say this. Like dude, how can we really tell if your group can carry a tune in various types of stages and performances if they kept hiding behind lipsync? And why are you so proud of that? Mind boggling.

by HYBE standard, obv better than the bg, might owing to less use of autotune.

I still dont get why they autotune txt and enhypen voice too much i still cant even differentiate their voices.

Danielle has some potential tho i kinda like her tone

But tbh why hybe cant find one single great vocalist for their group tho, their main vocals are subpar than other agencies'
