Why do you think Min Heejin left SM when she got a good job there?

  • She’s creative director, and if she stays, she would work with Aespa and NCT, both very successful groups, so no doubt she is paid well. Why risk it to leave with an uncertain future?

    Approved the thread.
  • she was overworked and underpaid at sm

  • Because HYBE is rising and she got offered more responsibilities and better pay.

I know this because she told me herself in good confidence.

  • she said herself she was massively burned out at sm, they overworked her to the bone. it's clear she had bigger ambitions for herself too and SM wasn't willing to offer those opportunities to her

  • She likely had more say too and didn't have to answer to SM executives. So either oversee her own group or just be told what to do by SM? I think she wanted the freedom to make the kind of group she envisioned and I doubt she could've done that at SM.

  • why do people leave their jobs?

    i have experience on that:

1 they are not paying what you worth.

2 You see other people with less experience being promoted over you. Or more experience (more years in the company) but not doing a better job than you

3 they are paying you an average wage for doing the work of 2 or 3 workers.

4 The company thinks is easy to get another worker to get your job done

5 working extra hours and not getting the extra money

6 you pulling your contacts to get better deals and the company not recognizing that, and even saying is all company good work (not yours)

did you even heard about this woman until she left and somebody started praising her work with successfull SM groups? no, it was always Lee So Man this and that.

  • hybe offered a better contract, less work and way more pay

  • because hybe label adds another '0' at the end of her paycheck <:
