why are people acting like soloists like sunmi are flopping

just because they're not the hottest or trendiest artists in present day, they still have more jobs and recognition than 95% of all idols out there.

they are able to guest on biggest shows and have much more gp recognition whereas no one knows those supposedly "doing much better" idol groups

Honestly, every artists have their peaks and dips and that is just the nature of how things are. Sunmi has already released well-known hit songs since her solo debut like 24 Hours, Full Moon, Gashina, Siren, etc. Just because her current music isn't up to the taste, doesn't mean she's "flopping", sometimes songs just don't work out.

She's already a legend of the game and has way more credibility and notoriety than these 4th gen idol groups.

I agree with you. Those people only care about the charts and determine her popularity recognition from solely looking at the charts.

looks like you got offended by my thread. Also i am a big sunmi fan actually. And my post was questioning korean gp because sunmi always serves with her songs. I am talking about her charting in korea, she is a soloist and as fans we can be curious why ever since after siren, her songs are underperforming when she is popular and makes gp friendly good songs. No need to get offended. No one said she is irrelevant in sk or something geez.
