    Low for a Friday release. Illusion and life’s too short didn’t chart.


    Why is aespa not doing it with international audience? Despite all the hype they have?

    It is kind of low. I was expecting more than this especially considering the time it was released. This is pretty normal for an sm group though.

    Majority of westerners aren’t clinging onto the AE concept. And generally boy groups tend to do better internationally than girl groups (and this is coming from a gg stan so don’t come at me)

    The songs are underwhelming. SM doesn't know what's popular globally wbk

    gg and bg actually pretty equal globally, and gg tend to be better at charting their song in Spotify bb and Apple

    don’t follow charts. how much streams are they supposed to achieve and considered good? 2M?

    with all the western push, the release date made specially for the west 1.5 would be the least someone would expect

    Considering the time it was released no. Love dive got 850k debut streams while it had way less tracking time. Girls was released at an optimal time for spotify tracking and only managed a million.


    Ld also grew steadily and consistently got high streams for a long time. We'll see how girls will perform in that regard as there's still hope.

    Not the worst but I was expecting close to 2M. Good to see mys getting humbled and reality check though

    Girls aren't international friendly songs because YYJ (this man is a menace) uses old techniques (loads of high notes, unnecessary dance breaks, lengthy song) so Girls could reach 1m already a feat actually
