Jack in the box feels like a mixtape raher than a solo debut

  • The promotion is so underwhelming. It's a solo debut but the only way it is different from a mixpape is that it will be released on k-charts. I'm honestly over the whole CD fiasco but everything else is also messy. We didn't even get a comeback map nor did we get a premiere for more mv which might be hobis idea since he is most likely involved in his solo debut but it's just not smart at all. Our fandom feeds on hype but this promotion seems to be killing it.

If this idea of minimal solo promotion was their idea, it's not smart. BTS members need to realize that if the want to break out of the BTS barrier and have a prolonged career they have to gain fans which are not armys and for that they HAVE to promote to the General public themselves, armys can only do so much.

    Approved the thread.
  • I agree with the audience part, armys are obsessed with butterish type of songs.

  • And it was supposed to be a mixtape in the first place makes sense why it doesn't have any collab and physical.

  • I agree with you. Like others have said post on main so we can have an actual discussion on this. The part about drawing in fans that are not army really hits home.

  • Agree, now put this on main so we can spit on Hybe or Bighit or whatever together

This is basically a mixtape with photocard
