I honestly think that Jisoo doesn't want to release solo music

Everyone's like: "Well, every other Blackpink member has released solo music so what about Jisoo? When is she making her solo debut?"

But have you guys ever thought, "well, what if Jisoo doesn't want to make a solo music debut?" She's basically already set with a career in acting. She doesn't have to solo debut but blinks are kind of expecting it from her and even think it's unfair that she hasn't released solo music yet while the other members have.

She has solo debuted as an actress and if she also wants to release solo music, that's great, but if not, it's fine by me. I think that fans should stop assuming stuff and deciding their faves' future and actually consider that it might not be what they really want.

Her fans are getting mad and demanding it. They don't want her to sing a cover at the end of year tour, and I understand that, but I also think both R and L had their solo's rushed to appease the fans. If Jisoo has nothing in the works and her fans are screaming their heads off because they have set a deadline for her, what is the resulting song going to be like? I'd rather hear Clarity again...

Real fans should know her real capabilities, its a huge pressure for her, she'll be in the spotlight for one song and people will see if she's not up to it. I mean i know she'll try her best but what if it's not good enough, she'll just getting hate,basically her own fans are pressuring her to get hate.

She did say in Rolling Stone that she wanted to do solo music, but she doesn't know which sound she should go for, what the public wants from her so that's probably why she hasn't made a solo debut yet.

I think Jisoo is being careful, she’s considered last in talent amongst the members , her dancing has improved but it’s not enough to be seen alone on stage , hee vice is thick and husky so her song selection is even more narrow to get the best that will fit her. Her fans are setting her up pressuring for this solo .

she is good at songs that are in her mid range/lower register her Japanese covers were good but I think Jisoo feels pressure being in the spotlight and probably doing choreography on top of that

She has to follow Lisa. That's a tall order. They'll probably wait until her solo loses some steam. It could be a while.

Jisoo’s a thoughtful person and I think she will take her time. Her Rolling Stones interview has appeased a lot of her fans who previously thought the company was keeping her from a debut. I think she wants to take her time and find a sound that works for her. Out of all of Blackpink, her solos will probably be the most different from the group music, not because she doesn’t suit Blackpink’s sound but because she shines best in a different setting. I can really see her pulling off a jazzier or RnB song.
