Some of the thirty and forty something groups with thirty and fortysomething fans might be surprised to hear that. You really think 15 year olds are buying 2PM and SuJu albums?

Kpop groups are designed to bring you in as a teenager and then grow with you so they can keep taking your money. The music, concepts and merch change as the group and the fanbase age.

Haha, 37 is still young my friend!
KPOP certainly attracts younger audience, as they have more time and less responsibilities, so they can go all in. Older fans in 1st, 2nd or even 3rd gen are probably parents by now and their kids are probably stanning 3rd or 4th gen lol. It's a cycle. KPOP cater towards teenager and younger adult, but not all fans are teenager or younger adult.
However, if you we're just talking about Korean music in general, there are tons and tons of talents and artists that isn't labeled 'KPOP' and produced great music.
