What's worse: nonsense lyrics vs. too mature lyrics for kids

definitely too mature for kids, nonsense lyrics can be fun in moderation

I'm the lone vote for nonsense lyrics, and here's my reasoning:

A few years back, I was cleaning out old CDs and found my Spice Girls album from when I was a kid! I put it on, and the song 2 Become 1 came on. Now, I loved this song as a kid; I probably loved it more than Wannabe.

And listening to it again as an adult I ended up calling my mom and asking her why tf she let me listen to it. And her response was basically, "it's not like you understood it." Which accurate.

I could see switching votes if the song is deliberately intended for children (ala Jojo Siwa's target audience), but idol groups seem to tend to target teens to 20s for the most part.
