Aespa don't do well globally on spotify

Their song are more experimental, full of lore and very hit and miss to lot of people. Give aespa any regular friendly tracks and they might be at the top. They do well globally not top 10 but in 12 or 14 despite having experimental song. They still getting 100m on their title tracks

Aespa surpassed 200M views for 2022 in Spotify, with only a few songs.

People may trash Aespa all they like, that's still impressive.

they released songs like Forever, Lucid Dream, and DCT which are more friendly in my opinion. Not sure if they changed anything extremely for spotify. Don't think it did.

Next Level outperformed Mafia in the morning and Alcohol Free. Savage underperformed against loco but outperformed Scientist. I don't count The Feel because it is an English single and not a twice main come back. I think its the exception.

There is not much audiences for these kpop groups. If they like the song, it will do a wee bit better than other songs. There is not much to write home about. Look at the stream. These kpop groups are compete at the bottom of the barrel.

Well according to their fans, they say aespa’s “experimental” songs and lore lyrics are bringing something new to kpop? If they change their sound then they’re going to be like every other group… Their fans won’t have much to boast about them being “different” music wise.
