  • I never thought they would go under their IPO value after they went over double its value

  • They were overvalued anyway, hybe ain't a revolutionary company they think they are it's just BTS is huge

  • Bangtan Supremacy. Not just charts and album sales but stocks as well. As a non Hybe stan and an ARMY, I agree :sunglasses:

  • I agree they were over valued. 90% of their value came from BTS and that's not sustainable value for the investors. Hybe Stans go on and on about how they've reduced their dependency on BTS but it's not true. Their other groups are doing well but only to the extent of the other big3 groups. And HYBE is valued well above those big 3 companies who have older acts bringing in money too. So at no point will the current hybe groups be able to sustain HYBE's valuation.

  • other HYBE groups are also doing really well, but BTS are just such a monster smash hit group they're impossible to replace. It'd be the same if they were under SM, YG, JYP. They practically print money for HYBE, no wonder they tried to cling to them with every ounce of strength.

  • Hybe is nothing without BTS. All their other groups are rubbish. Good luck, it's going to go back to being a Big 3 if they never come back as a group.

  • Hybe became too greedy for quick profits. They wanted to build an empire overnight and now they will see it was not possible because it was BTS that made them happen and not their incompetent ways.

Even hardcore Armys were done with them because after so many years, they can't even have decent translations for their biggest artists.

It was all about their ambitions and greed all along.

  • That was what triggered the company statement, damage control.
