I just realized. A lot of the men in these groups are straight up criminals and most of the time get away with it. Even when they're not criminals they're still certified assholes. Compare that to the scandals surrounding girl groups and the difference is incredible. What is wrong with the men in kpop and south Korea as a whole?
This was inspired by the post on that H.O.T member and news of Kris Wu beginning his trial. Some weeks ago it was seungri and that slap on the wrist they called a sentence. Let's not even mention the amount of male celebrities and idols that have been accused and found guilty of sexual assault and beating up their girlfriends. Pretty sure more than half of bg members are out there soliciting prostitutes at those hostess bars as well.
I think the reality is only now hitting me. I don't know what I'll do if 4th gen male idols start getting involved in scandals like this
