Not going to happen. The members in BP are all close in popularity. There is a huge popularity gap in aespa Winter and Karina > Ning2 and Giselle although I think Ning2 can catch up with time. Giselle sadly I have no hope but maybe she'll surprise us in the future who knows. Agree to the person that said they have little to no stage presence/star quality probably embarrassed to end up singing about lores, naevis and kwangya after so many years of training. I would be too. Compare BP's rookie year at festivals to aespa's performances and you'll see a HUGE difference in stage presence. They were both rookies so no excuses from MYs please always blaming SM when the girls need to step up as well. Maybe they'll surprise us with this comeback though.

BP had huge growth from "AIIYL" to "DDU-DU DDU-DU". Literally the biggest any gg's could have. AIIYL charted on bubbling under at 13 and D4 debuted on billboard hot100, we all know how it was if you were there in 2018. and Aespa is already established well in Korea due to NL being huge hit and let's see how their July comeback will do and if it takes them to new heights like it happened to BLACKPINK. Album sales aren't the only metric, because literally kpop sales are increased hugely

Nah, BM-NL-Savage-DCT-SB aren't back to back hits, even from those only NL is a real hit, BM is an straight flop, Savage is lacking longevity, SB and DCT are already flops, they aren't even crossing 300m in gaon and both already out of melon top 50, DCT is out of top 100 already. BP had Whistle-PWF-AIIYL-DDD-KTL were all hits in SK even with the narrative that KTL flopped despite having the 4m uls in Melon and 2,2m in Genie. DDDD and AIIYL are of the biggest gg hits in SK in the recent years, PWF is a huge hit and whistle is a big hit debut. BP and Aespa in SK are uncomparable, only BP is a real digimon and its the same with Twice, LOA-CU-TT-KK-Signal were all big hits and actual hits, so not really comparable to aespa.

Stage presence issues? I see that with Red Velvet too. I only listen to some of their music cuz their performances and concerts are zzzzz imo and the members are not that interesting

bp was interesting, they had swag and watching them in performances, their stages presence was amazing. their musics are bop. their rap part are pretty good too
im from canada and listening to aespa is cringe. savage was a good beat but that cringe rap killed it. their music is background noise its messy
