"They're young"

  • How old does an idol have to be for fans to actual hold them accountable for anything?

Saeron was drunk driving. Her weirdo fans need to stop saying that she's young like that some sort of excuse. Shes 21 turning 22 in July. Hold her accountable. This applies to a lot of other idols as well.

  • I know Saeron isn't a kpop idol but an actress before some smartass comes to point that out but this applies to idols as well

  • This apply for other idols too. Some people keep babying wonyoung when she's turning 18 this year. She's not 14/15 like during pd48 and izone anymore.

  • When you say accountable - you don’t mean accountable. You are not satisfied if an idol apologised and changed for the better. You want the idol to be punished for life. So if you make a mistake especially when you are young, you want your mistake to define you for life too?

but wonyoung doesn't have any scandals that her fans aren't holding her accountable for?

usually people bring up her age when talking about the massive hate she gets and i think no idol should have to undergo unreasonable hate regardless of their age, especially when its the things wonyoung gets hated for: "not flipping her hair once in their entire choreography," "being too expressive on stage," "being too skinny" (this is literally body shaming), etc.

  • The fact that you are saying this tells me you are young yourself. As an older member of society, I speak from experience that you can look back at yourself 5-10 years ago at any stage at life and realize that you knew nothing back then.

  • Drunk driving is a serious thing, just last year in my city a drunk college student crashed into an eldelry couple while they were walking on the cross walk with their bikes, one of them died instantly, the other gets to live without his wife with a life long disability, and of course the driver survived with a couple of bruises

It just bafles me that people think something this serious could be just chalk up to them being young

based on the damage she made when she crashed her car into the transformer, she should be thankful to god/the universe or whoever because if people happened to be there they would've surely be dead

Hence dui is not something that can be resolved with a simple apology or a slap on the wrist, they should definitely revoke her drivers license at the very least for 5 years and make a record of this so if this happens again next time her license should be taken away permanently

Yeah not scandals but people keep treating her like she's a kid. Here's one example

    zuzuhhaa

It doesn't sound appropriate but wonyoung turns 18 this year and is 19 in sk not 17.
