The lipsyncing is becoming really upsetting and disappointing

  • people paid to watch a concert. The bare minimum is to hear your voice.

You are hearing their voice. It just sounds better. Even Beyonce lipsyncs at times.

Kpop isn't a rock concert where they just shout whatever and people lap it up.

  • All of y'all so sensitive for what?

If they sing live and don't sound like the studio version they get dragged. If they don't sing live they get dragged.

Idols can't win anyway, so might as well sound good.

This is why idols lip sync. Some fans are so brainwashed they don’t care of there’s actual singing or not at a freaking live concert. Lip syncing at a concert defeats the point of attending, if I wanted to hear the cd then I’d stay at home and listen to on my phone instead of spending money on tickets and travel. Kpop companies can milk fans who will pay anything for their idols even if it’s relatively useless.

  • the same people that think lipsync is okay probably call BP models, and that is a huge double standard. You don't care about the music or the singing, you just care about your oppas and unnies dancing and looking good in front of other eyes, basically nulifying the Idol singing part yet you like to sht on BP for focusing in the model part of the Idol work. Thank god at least BP sing lives

K-pop idols have it easy because fans let them.

I would attend a kpop concert for the experience the first time around but would not go to see a group a second time if I noticed they were mostly lip-syncing . That said I think I've only seen one music act live more than once and it was an artist who plays instruments and writes both their own music and lyrics. I would consider seeing another artist a second time who fits the same bill: instrumentalist as well as songwriter. The only Korean music act I think I want to see a second time is an indie soloist I previously saw at a festival. Even people who don't lip sync but can't sing a complete song disappoint me. I'm thinking of a female Korean soloist here.

  • no they didn't but it's ok, it's normal for them

    Yes, they did, stop lying.
